• On January 31, 2012 Rinky S. Parwani was a speaker with the Honorable Jonathan K. Olson, United States Bankruptcy Judge, as well as attorneys Larry Feinstein and Viram Barad.  The topic was  Mastering Bankruptcy: An Introduction to Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 and was presented on behalf of the American Bar Association as a webinar. 

• On January 24, 2012 Rinky S. Parwani and Efrain Aponte presented at the Hillsborough C. Blythe Andrews, Jr. Library on the topic of Divorce on behalf of the Hillsborough County Bar Association as part of the pro bono assistance program.

• On January 5, 2012 Parwani Law, P.A. was approved for registration as a Small Business Enterprise with the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners for a period of two years.

• On November 22, 2011 Efrain Aponte volunteered on behalf of the Hillsborough County Bar Association to provide a free presentation on Consumer Law at the Brandon Regional Library.

• In October 2011, Parwani Law, P.A. donated to the Riverview Boys and Girls Club by adding a brick to the Bricks of Hope Pathway.

• On October 20, 2011, Rinky S. Parwani was a co-panelist with Associate Judge Pamila J. Brown of the District Court of Maryland, practitioner Christina "Tina" Nida of Colorado and practitioner Daniel Tann of Pennsylvania at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law speaking on How to Start Your Law Practice on behalf of the American Bar Association General Practice, Solo and Small Firm Division.  The panelists answered questions from soon to be lawyers and provided information about starting a practice.

• Rinky S. Parwani was published in the American Bar Association GP SOLO General Practice, Solo & Small Firm Division Magazine in the October/November 2011, Volume 28, Number 7, p. 56 with the article entitled "On the Road Again!" in the GP Mentor Section of the Magazine.

• Rinky S. Parwani was published in the American Bar Association GP SOLO General Practice, Solo & Small Firm Division Magazine in the October/November 2011, Volume 28, Number 7, p. 14 with the article entitled "Working From Home, Making the Move."

• Rinky S. Parwani was invited to speak as a panelist at the Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce "Behind the Business: 2010 Small Business Award Winners" on Wedensday, August 24, 2011 from 11:00am to 1:00pm presented by Marie Gilmore of the Osprey Observer at the Brandon Chamber Building.  The panelist shared the back story of locally recognized business including challenges and innovation.

• On July 25, 2011 Efrain Aponte joined Parwani Law, P.A. as a Senior Associate Attorney.  Mr. Aponte is fluent in Spanish.

• On July 8, 2011 Parwani Law, P.A. was nominated for the Greater Brandon Chamber 2011 Small Business of the Year Award in the 1-5 employees category.

• Parwani Law, P.A. was voted to the silver level of the Tampa Bay Tribune's Best of South Shore contest readership poll in 2011.

• Parwani Law, P.A. has donated funds to the local community for a slide in the Pavilion Homeowner's Association children's playground.  Dedication of the new playground and slide was on June 11, 2011.

• 

• On June 7, 2011, Rinky S. Parwani has been appointed as a diversity fellow of the American Bar Association General Practice Solo and Small Firm Division for 2012.

• Rinky S. Parwani authored the article "Five Successful Things to Do for Free in Settting Up a Practice" featured in the Solo/Small Firm Practitioner Section of The Hillsborough County Bar Association April 2011 Volume 21, No. 5 of Lawyer magazine.

• Rinky S. Parwani co-presented a webinar on behalf of the American Bar Association on April 28th, 2011 entitled Bankruptcy for Non-Bankruptcy Lawyers.

• Rinky S. Parwani attended a Pro Bono Service Awards ceremony on April 13, 2011 held by the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit local pro bono program where she was recognized for her pro bono service in 2010 with a pin and letter of recognition from the Supreme Court of Florida, Young Lawyers Division of the Florida Bar and Pro Bono Coordinators Association. 

• Rinky S. Parwani spoke on the topic of Identity Theft at the Pine Castle Women's Club on April 13, 2011 in Orlando, Florida.

• Rinky S. Parwani was a co-presenter on the the topics of Starting a Law Firm and Bankruptcy for Non-Bankruptcy lawyers at the American Bar Association Small Firm and Solo Conference in Austin, Texas on October 22, 2010.

• Parwani Law, P.A. was awarded the Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce 2010 Small Business of the Year Award in the Minority and Women Business category at a ceremony on October 21, 2010.  Rinky S. Parwani accepted the award on behalf of the firm.

• Ms. Parwani is a frequent volunteer with the Hillsborough County Bar Fox Channel 13 Ask A Lawyer Program featured on Good Day Tampa Bay the first Thursday of every month from 7am to 9am.
